Its been an eventful day! Bella needed a blood transfusion as suspected. She had fun in the playroom today and she loved decorating her room too. We had a visit from the nutritionist today. It was not a good visit. After trying to stuff her with food for the last 4 days, she didn't gain any weight. She is at 51 lbs. She should be around 58 lbs. They are starting to discuss feeding her intravenously. She is eating though, just not enough and not fatty enough foods. Right after the transfusion ended, Bella developed a fever. She is now on an antibiotic and blood had to be drawn for cultures. praying for no infection. She started chemo around 11ish tonight. It will be done around 5:30 am. We are also praying for little side effects. This week Bella is set up to see an alternative medicine Dr. to help with appetite and chemo side effects as well as a physical therapist to get her muscles moving more. Off to try to get some sleep tonight! Thanks for prayers and well wishes!!
